J	John Martlew on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jumping off place for Las Animas and Yalapa, so there’s always lots of through traffic. The constantly changing sand bar is a guessing game every trip there. Watching the pangas at the end of the day, crossing the extreme shallows that are the only constant, into the inner water at full speed is a hoot. Chairs, tables and umbrellas available on the sandbar for $200 pesos for the day. The restaurants don’t charge but you do have to eat. They let us sit with our own beer which they kept cold in their fridge. We shared a fajita plate. Best of both. Ask for Juana.

K	Kimberly Pham on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little town is nothing but a beauty. Folks here are friendly and sweet. full of locals, barely any tourist. There are cute little shops and restaurants along the beach. Definitely a fun place to hang out. You can get a water taxi to the remote beaches to chill/swim/snorkel or if you are adventurous enough cross over the bridge and do a hike. The trail will take you into the wilderness and along the beautiful Pacific ocean. I would not recommend hiking if you are a rookie. This trail is moderate/difficult. The price for the water taxi is $100 peso, bus ride from/to downtown PV is $10 peso or around $269 peso for uber from/to hotel zone. Definitely a great experience.
