Bocamina San Ramón, es una ex hacienda que ha sido resguardada por el paso del tiempo y se ha convertido en Museo y Salón de Eventos donde se ofrece el servicio de organización de eventos sociales y empresariales.
About Bocamina San Ramón
Los nuevos dueños embellecieron el lugar, construyendo grandes muros de calicanto; profundizaron el tiro y realizaron obras interiores. Posteriormente en 1825 Don Antonio de Obregón y Barrera dió un contrato por diez años a la Anglo-Mexican Company Limited para el uso de la mina. Desde entonces ha cambiado de dueño constantemente.
Al día de hoy la Bocamina San Ramón ha sido reconstruida y, aunque la producción minera ha cesado, se ha convertido en un museo con gran atractivo turístico, además de un espléndido salón donde se ofrece el servicio de organización de eventos sociales y empresariales.
El tour turístico que brinda Bocamina San Ramón es un breve recorrido que nos permite conocer sobre el trabajo de los antiguos mineros; del esfuerzo para tumbar y extraer las cargas de oro y plata, la cuales eran acarreada por medio de una pendiente irregular, a diferencia de otros tiros que tienen un sentido vertical, lo cual permitía que los mineros pudieran subir a pie con la carga de mineral siendo la pendiente una escalera.
El descenso a la mina llegó a ser originalmente de 520 metros, pero hoy en día por motivos de seguridad sólo se permite el descenso a 60 m. al interior del tiro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The construction is nice but to get down to the mine it's a lot of stairs and in the end it's just a whole in the ground. If you already so a mine, it's not worthy. Super small place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice place room's okay the customer attention is great the restaurant has a very good chef working there they take credit cards it's it's nice The view for the city is very good p the cab right from here to downtown is about $2 USD.. I highly recommend it and I will be back here again

There's a small museum explaining more about the old mine, and there is also a short tour down to the old mine you can take, be careful of the slippery steps! We had some great BBQ and drinks, it was a blast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were out of here within 10 minutes. Very little to see. The drive is long from the center and for the stairs to just end around the corner was disappointing to say the least. There are no expected tunnels in here just what you see and a few steps more a dead end. This is the only attraction here not very deep at all. And within ten minutes I’m back in my taxi.
