We were celebrating a birthday. Because of work, I arrived a little past 10pm to the gathering, they close at 11pm. From the start the service was slow, I had asked for a food menu 3 times. (cant go into too much detail as I have a word limit) Food was mediocre at best. Definately overpriced, over cooked, over seasoned served with attitude. If you are here for food you have better options. Paradise bodega thinks that a fancy restaurant is all about the nice wall paper, an elegant feel, nice chairs and beautifully presented mixed drinks. Im from Orange County Ca. and I frequent restaurants like, Mastros, Javiars and nobu. Not only do these places have amazing food worth paying a 500 dollar bill for, but regardless of the food bill, they pride themselves of one thing. That’s GREAT ABOVE AN BEYOND CUSTMOR SERVICE! Which brings me to the reasons why this place got a 1 star. Not because of their overpriced and terrible quality food. But because of your completely poor quality and attitude of your servers and owner. My party might not have noticed, perhaps its normal to be treated like this here. But I was sure as hell wasn’t going to allow this establishment make a mockery of my new acquaintances. As the 2 girls left for the restroom I was left by myself, as a birthday gift I decided to pay for the tables bill. The bill came out to 1300 pesos about 65 dollars, and gave them 100 peso tip (even though they deserved a lot less) which is about 5 dollars. Really did not feel they gave any service to deserve more. We stayed a few minutes past 11pm and then we were asked to leave. In America you stay until the guest wants to leave (but this is Mexico, so when in Rome) let alone be asked to leave. A gentleman ordered 2 drinks, they brought him the check, paid with a card. They asked him if he wanted to leave a tip, he told them “I’ll leave it on the table”. He left them 20 pesos which is about 1 dollar. After we exit the restaurant, a server had the nerve to come out side and say: “hay you for got your 20 pesos.” thats tip "oh this is tip, ok thank you" Something from straight out the movie (Waiting). The nerve of this man. Who the hell do these people think they are to pull a stunt like that, at a so called “fancy elegant restaurant”. My friend was clueless but the rest of my party definitely noticed the server was trying to make a statement to straight up be incredibly rude. As we are waiting for our ride, the boss, owner, manager, a tall bald white dude who I saw supervising the small restaurant. Whose main job is to visit tables, talk to the guest and make sure every single one of his guests, including those that only leave a dollar tip, are being given excellent service. This man has the nerve to instead of asking us how was our meal, did you enjoy our place, has the never to walk up to us outside and say, “oh sorry to kick you guys out we all have homes to be at you know, can’t be waiting around for too long.” The experience was so incredibly mind blowing terrible it was laughable. These people and restaurant owner have no clue how to run a successful restaurant let alone a restaurant of the caliber they are trying to portray. Some advice to you bald guy and your rude staff, above all else, treat every single one of your guest who walk in through those doors as a prized guest of honor. With above and beyond customer service. You can have the worst tasting food (and you do) but treat your guest with respect and perhaps you will survive this pandemic. As for all my fellow Americans I recommend CASA 46 if you are looking for a fancy romantic dinner, great experience, amazing customer service and grate food. Stay away from here, you will regret it. Good luck to the bald guy, hope you take this as a positive review and do your job train your team to be a wining team.

What an excellent experience. The food, atmosphere, and service was excellent. One of the best margaritas in Mazatlan. Enjoyed a New York cut steak and was not disappointed. All steaks were prime and from the USA. The bone in rib eye and tomahawk steaks looked delicious. A super dinner!

Great new place in town!! The best and perfectly cooked medium rare steak! I ordered the rib eye (the spine) and it was amazing!! Also the bone marrow is to die for! It’s a little pricey for Mazatlan, but you’ll pay double or triple the price in the states for the same quality food. Definitely worth the price. Located in the Marina in front of Liverpool.

Bodega Paraiso is one of the new kids on the block in the Mazatlán restaurant scene. The restaurant hits a grand slam in the very competitive restaurant environment here in town. They are firing on all cylinders when it comes to food, ambiance, decor and service. Located in the Marina area right across the street from the La Galarias mall, the restaurant itself might be overlooked. With its blacked out windows and enclosed outdoor area. But the moment you get inside it's beautiful, low lit lighting, distressed mirrors and great decor. The service is impeccable, the owner is usually there and personally greats you, they waiters describe each menu item perfectly and they come around and show you their prime steak cuts. The food is delicious, well seasoned, comes out reasonably quickly and is perfectly portioned. You can either eat family style or if your hungry eat it all yourself. Their cocktail list is also impressive, with many options and all the drinks are masterfully made. Overall it's a great place for a party or a romantic evening. It great if you want steak or seafood or something in between. I can't rave enough about how awesome of a time my wife and I had there, we will definitely be back and I will go back for a boozy lunch and steak alone after a round of golf with friends. I love Bodega Paraíso and I highly recommend you give it a try.
