★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great little book store that has many books in lots of different languages. We stopped in to grab a few primary books for ourselves to learn Spanish and then to pass onto our grandchildren to learn. A nice lady works there who was very helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great second hand bookstore in Playa del Carmen. They have many books in english, but also in french, italien, german and other languages.
The selection of books in german language was the hugest we found so far in Mexico.
One book is 30 Peso. You can also bring your books if you have no more need for them. If you bring 2 books, you can choose one for free.
German: Hier findet man auch deutsche gebrauchte Bücher. Es gibt hier die größte Auswahl an deutschen Büchern, die wir bis jetzt in Mexiko gefunden haben.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are a bookworm like me and looking for a great bookshop check out "Il Quinto Cavaliere" next to Parque La Ceiba
I was amazed by the huge selection of books, not only in Spanish but in any major language. Most of them cost as little as 30-50 pesos. Also, you can bring your own and exchange them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quirky little spot. They have Spanish, English, German, Italian books on separate shelves, but on the “everything else” shelf I also found a few Hungarian books as well as Finnish and Czech(, and some other European languages that I couldn’t recognize with certainty).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute book store! Books in English are 30MXN - that's $1.50! So cheap! (I think other languages were maybe 40 or 50mxn). They also have a deal where you can bring 2 books and swap it for one. It's quite small, and there's not a fantastic selection, but there'll definitely be something you can pick up and read.
