★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update Feb 2022 - I was back in Guadalajara and looking forward to visiting the boulangerie again. Unfortunately this time my experience was so so. I noticed a significant decline in service. For example I ordered coffee, but the server did not bring any sugar or spoon. Afterwards and I ordered the meal, they again did not bring any fork spoons or napkins. Each time I had to ask and wait. I ordered a second coffee and the server name of that I was using sugar and milk but the server did not bring either. By the time I waited after asking the server, the coffee had gone cold.

During my stay in the neighborhood I had only one opportunity for breakfast and this place was on top of my list! I went around 9AM and there was long waiting line as expected! As I was alone, I got seated ahead of others :) and got a table with one chair across from the bar.
The place was humming and the vibe was awesome. I was attended by English speaking lady who could have been the owner if not the manager of the place. I ordered omelette with Mexican twist and coffee. Everything from the service to quality of food was great!
I highly recommend this place while you are visiting GDL!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was recommended to try this place by a local friend. I was extremely satisfied with my meal! The ambiance, service, presentation, and food were all top notch. Frida was my server and she was so nice and sweet.
It's too bad I have to go back to Philadelphia. The food here will be missed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a french spot but what I really recommend are the Mexican dishes like the enfrijoladas, not heavy and really good. The french sandwiches are also a must. I can tell you that brunch is the biggest star of this place. The space used to be a french house from circa 1900's, it is cozy an and has a backyard that is absolutely relaxing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bread is the star of this place, most of the dishes include it for example sandwiches, croissants, Benedict eggs etc.
We ordered Tunesinos eggs (poached eggs over crummy spinach with bacon over an English muffin, all covered in a creamy red bell pepper sauce), and a croque madam, with a almond croissant to share.
Everything except the coffee was great. Be sure to get early on weekends because it’s quite popular spot amongst locals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The flavors, presentation, staff and ambiance were all fantastic. The coffee was on par with what I'd expect from a nice café in my hometown Seattle, no less GDL.
The tomato salad accompanying my croque madame was an excellent and refreshing touch. So much variety in tea, too!
Muchas gracias por todo! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great breakfast and brunch place. They have valet parking and there is a lot of on street parking as well. People are very friendly and they have delicious pastries. I had the eggs Benedict and it was good. Their mimosas are also a delicious treat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excelent service!!! It's a must visit on your staying here.
The breakfast dishes are really good and delicious, great quality and quantity. The bread is made everyday at the place. Everything is so delicious!!! The croissant are super crunchy outside and soft inside. The Chocolate french toast is really good, it's worth it to try it.
