Tengo casi 20 ańos buceando con Don Hector.

Es la experiencia más bonita que he tenido, vale la pena vivirla y por eso se las recomiendo a todos aquellos que desean llegar a sentir lo que es llegar a las estrellas .

El trato de Hector es muy cordial, y las indicaciones muy claras, excelente para buzos principiantes ya que no te percatarás que de momento ya estás buceando. 100% recomendable. Gracias Hector regresaremos a disfrutar de este magnífico deporte. Iván

totalmente recomendable. es la mejor opción que puedes encontrar con las 3 "B" en Huatulco con personas bien capacitadas y con experiencia en el buceo. sin duda alguna volvería a bucear en buceo sotavento.

My family recently attempted a dive with Buceo Sotavento in Hualtuco Mexico. Our experience was so scary that I think it’s imperative that you prevent the owner, Hector, from putting any other divers at risk. On the day of our dive we arrived at his office to gather our the equipment. The process was disorganized and herwas forgetting essential pieces of gear. My daughter and her partner were not experienced divers and if we hadn’t been there, numerous pieces of equipment would have been forgotten or been too ill fitting to be of use. When we were out on the boat, regulator and BCDs awere in unusable shape. He had regulator set ups that didn’t include an octopus (which he insisted were not necessary),Gauges on the regular set up that were either unreadable because the glass was so fogged you could not read the dials or others that were missing either the air pressure or the depth dials. Some of us were in the water as this was coming to light. For those of us who were in the water, regulators and hoses were leaking that he insisted we ok but we refused to use them and they were also switched to only marginal equipment. we finally cancelled the dive when a tank that was supposed to be at 3000 psi was at 2200 psi. Hector kept insisting that we didn’t know how to read the dial. My significant other and i have each done over 50 dives and have never experienced anything like this where we were in fear of our lives and had to cancel a dive. We later learned that the “other master diver” that he had assisting does not even have a diving certification. I did further research. PADI the diving certification organization, revoked his credentials in 2005. Also, as or more scary, Hector the owner and only dive master, has been arrested twice for inappropriate touching of young girls under the water. In at least on one the cases, he served a jail term. I had it verified by 2 separate sources, I'm not sure how this has the positive reviews. I do know that the business name is realtively new so that probably deleted older posts. Please be aware. There are other great diving businesses in Hualtuco to patronize,.
