My wife, my 10 year old daughter, my 12 year old son and I hired the services of Buceo Xtabay on the super recommendation of a diver known to me who belongs to CIMAS (Professional diver instructors), he told us that this company is super professional and that He would give us a super service for being fellow divers. Nothing further from good service was what we received. This company is managed by Luz María González and her husband Pancho, who is also the captain of the boat in which we were transferred to the dive site. I will start with Pancho who only behaved courteously and helpful when we were already returning to the Port, it was annoying to live his little patience from the moment the journey began, it became intense during the assembly of equipment and stay on the surface. His intolerance reached the point that he got involved in the assembly of my wife and daughter's team. He made a stupid comment that there was a shark chasing a sailfish near the boat just before diving! That only served to increase the nervousness of everyone on the boat, unfortunate also was that I did NOT act with professionalism and care when my 10-year-old daughter went down to the sea on the side of the boat in which there was no one to receive her, this their fear and mistrust increased further. Regarding Luz María, it was terrible how he treated my wife for her little skill in assembling her team and the little tolerance she showed even knowing that she had a wound in her wrist, that was one of the reasons that she no longer did. the second dive. The worst part was for my daughter, the little tolerance that Luz María showed underwater towards my little girl was inconceivable, my daughter only asked her for help to adjust the visor, but she could not drain it, and Luz María only sent it to the surface to get rid of the problem and my daughter was in the boat in tears and frustration at not having been able to dive in the caribbean since I had been waiting for months to do it. At the end of the dive, Luz María had the gall to complain about my son saying that during all his diving he was very close to her and that she did not feel comfortable. This situation did happen but it was as a result of the captain's comment about the shark that was nearby. With me it was only the ballast, I indicated a weight which I usually use to dive and Luz María and the captain laughed and gave me the weight that they believed I should use. The only thing they caused was that I had a hard time leveling and that my air ran out faster on my first dive. Friends, we do not allow companies like these to continue treating us like this, just because they are used to serving foreigners or expert divers who believe that it is not necessary to provide quality services because they take care of themselves.

The best of experiences, Luz María Guzmán (Biologist, instructor and guide) helped me a lot from day 1 to improve my confidence in the sea, with the whale shark, trying diving in the sea and cenote, now I have certified with her for the second time with Naui: Advanced.
