Budget Car Rental - 58280 Morelia

DO NOT rent a car from this place. I booked it online, paid the car insurance online and I was supposed to pay the rest of the quote upon arrival. when I arrived the gentleman said the online purchases were not valid and I would have to pay a whole new quote which was double than the original price online. Bad customer service. Save yourself the trouble!

Reserved a car to pickup at 10am. Waited until 1130, and the office never opened. I called the number listed outside the office and someone picked up, but they hung up on me and then didn't pick up when I called back.

SO unprofessional and and the worst rental services ever

BOYCOT THIS COMPANY. It's difficult to find words that describe how disgustingly unprofessional this company is. They take no responsibility for bookings made on their own website. We arrived at the office and they had no cars left. Don't waste your time.

After a HORRIBLE experience with Dollar car rental, this place came to the rescue! I was in n out within 10 minutes and only paid $4,900 pesos for a small suv for a week WITH insurance. Given the reviews, I was SUPER Skeptical of this place which is why I booked through dollar car rental. Glad my experience wasn’t horrible! ?

Got a Flat tire, the spare was also flat with a nail in it. No jack to lift the car and no tools to change the tire. The car also left me and my family on the side of the road on a blind curve. The car just wouldn’t accelerate or brake. I had to put the parking brake or we’d go downhill. They said it’s normal for that type of car. “Renault duster” which wasn’t even the car I booked online. When I showed up to pick up the car it was a Renault duster with manual side mirrors. Not the Nissan xtrail I originally booked. I wasn’t going to review but if anybody reads this be careful. It stalled and I couldn’t brake or accelerate they told me to just turn it off for 20 minutes and yes we waited but in a dangerous curve. What a nightmare. The spare tire has a nail in it and is also flat come on. So many issues. For reference I drove the car for 3-4 hours from Morelia to Mazamitla and 30minutes away from our destination it just stopped working and started going in reverse by itself

Absolutely joke of a company. I hope they go bankrupt considering the lack of professionalism and despicable customer service. We booked through their website and received a confirmation email saying "your car is ready for pick-up" upon arrival to the office the lady let us know there were no cars available and just continued to justify how nothing was her fault and we should just send a complaint via email. They didn't even have the decency to call us and let us know there was no car so that we wouldn't make the trip and waste the entire day of Tourism we had planned. The lady of the counter was cordial but absolutely useless. Do not book with them, they don't deserve your money!

Horrible.... 1st the car we rented wasnt avaliable so he said I upgraded you to an suv ok great, lol NOPE I paid for the insurance online after reading reviews of upcharge.. they said insurance was never purchased I showed them it was still denied and that I would have to pay an extra fee for not taking insurance. this car had the baldest tires ever, had so many crashes and dents that the back bumper was on with metal screws, the seats ripped and when we stopped at the store we realized that the key fob locks but doesnt unlock the car- and the "key " doesnt unlock the door either. We played around until finally it opend the back and my son climbed through to unlock the doors. I guess the only postive was we kind of blended in with the locals lol I would never have paid $367 for that, but there are no other options so you are stuck
