★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muy mala experiencia, no tenían el carro que reservamos y tuvimos que ir a rentar a otra compañía, d9nde por cierto no s trataron con mucha amabilidad a diferencia de Budget!!
Very bad experience, they did not have the car that we booked and we had to go rent to another company, where by the way they were not treated with much kindness unlike Budget !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pésimo servicio, demorados, no tenia carros disponibles, omiten información importante que debes saber, me hicieron comprar otro seguro porque el que había comprado con mi paquete de viaje según ellos ella no servia, pregunta antes por los deducibles y asegúrate que no te cobren de mas. Nunca más en este lugar.
Me cobraron un golpe en el mismo lugar donde ya tenia 2 mas, creo que a todos les cobren el deducible y no arreglan el carro.
Terrible service, delayed, did not have cars available, they omit important information that you should know, they made me buy another insurance because the one that I had bought with my travel package according to them was not working, ask beforehand about the deductibles and make sure they do not charge you more. Never again in this place.
They charged me for a hit in the same place where I already had 2 more, I think they all charge the deductible and they don't fix the car.

booked upper class and got Renault Duster (booked was VW Jetta) what is mentioned on their own website as low mid class car.
they try to convince me that's it is upper class.
also charged an extra insurance.
better take a competitor of them.

Unless you want to go through a bad experience, DON'T rent from Budget at the Aguascalientes airport,
I've rented cars in Mexico but this one takes the cake for extremely bad service.
I should have read the reviews before reserving from this joint. Shame on Budget for letting this happen.
You've been warned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made my reservation with Expedia on their web page it shows they are open Sat and Sat 24 hours my plane was late we get there at 1:30 in the am there was nobody. We have to get a hotel for a couple hour until they open the person at the counter was very rude. Did not accept our reservation and we have to paid for the rental again. the car we gat it was in very bad conditions rear tires were bold and smell very bad I did not have any choice We needed the car

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before anyone says anything I have rented a car before but this experience was like no other. Our flight arrived @4am we did not receive our rental car until 11am! Why? Because the credit cards I had were not accepted by them (Visa and American Express). They said I could use my debit card which makes no sense because it's a Visa also. The deposit for the car was a total of $620 dlls, which is ridiculous! I have never paid soo much for a deposit in my LIFE! Even on my trips to Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, Cancun I've paid the most $160 dlls.
When I gave the guy my debit card he told me he couldn't use it because their system was down and I would have to wait until it was back up again. I asked if they can do it manually and he said he could fill out the paperwork manually BUT not process the payment. Umm ok, well you already have my card on file because that's the same card I used to book the car on Expedia!
BEWARE: The guy kept asking why I was traveling to AGUASCALIENTES and where I would be going. I thought he was trying to make small talk. At this point let you know I had reserved a Nissan Versa (which is the same car I own back home so, I know how it drives) He refused to give me that car and upgrade me. I didn't want to because he was going to charge me!
Long story short, NO I couldn't go to another rental company because they only had mini vans. The guy eventually, said he was going to upgrade at no cost. When I returned the car they charged me a little over 300$ for the car. The guy said it was because of insurance. I couldn't argue at that point since I had to check into my flight. 14 days later I still hadn't seen the deposit in my account. I called expedia they called for me and whoever they spoke with at this place said they never initiated the deposit back.
another 14 days later they said "they never charged the deposit".
Honestly. STAY AWAY!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I needed to take an emergency trip to Mexico. After booking my flights with American Airlines, I was offered a rental. Since our final destination was two hours away, we decided to book a reservation with Budget. I choose a CUV (Nissan XTrail) as the car I would want. I even purchased an insurance police offered by Budget to cover loss, theft, etc. Thinking I was ready to go, I didn't think anything of it.
We arrived at Aguascalientes around 1:00 p.m. We saw the Budge booth (by the way, Budget can probably invest a little more into the booth, it's hurting for some upgrades), and headed over. When I arrived the gentleman (Manuel), asked if we had a reservation. I told him that we had reserved a Nissan Xtrail and where to pick it up. Manuel didn't seem too happy. He said the vehicle was not available and instead told me there was a "Duster" available. I asked why the car I choose was not available, and he simply stated that they had limited availability. Since, I needed a car, I decided to agree to the new car. Manuel kept telling me I could cancel if I wanted to, but he would rather give me the "Duster" and not see me cancel. He kept telling me this in a very condescending tone, almost making it seem like he wanted me to cancel. Then he offered me an insurance policy through Budget. I told him I had already purchased a policy in the U.S., he, again, was not very happy. He told me that I was waiving any help and would have to authorize a hold on my credit card for $100,000.00 (or about $5,000 USD), in case anything happened to the car. Again, since I needed a vehicle I agreed.
I went to look at the "Duster" and this car was not what I was expecting. it had dents and scratches everywhere. I made sure to take photos of all parts of the vehicle. Maybe I was being naïve, but aren't you supposed to get a nice car from a rental company? This car was so poorly maintained.
Also, we had requested a car with GPS, well it turns out that the car didn't have GPS, but Manuel suggested use our phones. He also mentioned that the car had air conditioning.
We decided to take the car and start driving. Well, the car was not in very good shape. The car would turn off when you came to a stop and would not turn on again. The same thing would happen when you would shift gears. It was also missing a windshield wiper and seatbelts for the back seats. I felt very unsafe, but Manuel told me that if I needed anything, I would have to go to the Budget near my final destination because I had decided to not purchase the additional policy offered by Budget.
I WILL NEVER AGAIN rent from Budget. The service and car offered by this company was a joke. I understand you're in another country, but this should not be allowed. Luckily, I speak Spanish and was able to communicate with Manuel in Spanish, but what happens if you don't speak Spanish? NEVER AGAIN!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Google doesn't give a minus five stars . That's what I wanted to give. This guy Manuel did the same thing to various people already. I booked a month prior to my flight, for a Volkswagen Tiguan or similar. But Manuel said they didn't have it. So they offered me this junk. With an attitude of " you can cancel if you want". I landed in Aguascalientes around 9 am. And had a meeting at 11:00. So ,after checking with other rental companies, this was my only option,since it was a long weekend on the US, and it was super busy. I am posting the pictures, so you NEVER GO WITH BUDGET. It's totally a joke with the customers. Dents, scratches, wiper blades almost gone, brake pads gone, dirty seats and floor. I hope they go bankrupt.
