★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife was in the mood for steak so of course we headed to Buenos Aires Bistro. Definitely the best place in San Miguel for all things beef. I'm more of a pasta lover and the Italian dishes here are incredible. Much better than the so called Italian restaurants in town.
With the cozy atmosphere and excellent service this is our "go to" place in SMA.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The name of this restaurant does not do it justice. While the meat offerings are to die for, there are lots of vegetarian options, amazing salads and excellent pasta dishes. I am an omnivore and have really explored Buenos Aires Bistro's expansive menu. My personal favorites: filet mignon, grilled vegetables, grilled romaine, octopus salad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is exquisite and such a cozy place! They have a little bit of everything for everyone. Whether you're a vegetarian or not, very hungry or not, bar is full and the wine pairing is well thought of. Bring your family or a romantic dinner for two. Very versatile!

Definitely one of my favorite meals in San Miguel, and so much more intimate than many of the other high-end restaurants (more reasonable too).

The steak is always prepared perfectly and is enough for two people....I always share when dining with female friends. My vegetarian husband loves their homemade pastas and empanadas. Great wine list and excellent desserts..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our party of four had a spectacular dinner. Wonderful choices of starters. The meat was tender, tasty and was prepared exactly how we ordered it. The side dishes were also prepared to perfection. We sat by the window and loved the ambiance. The service was excellent, and the prices were quite reasonable and we thought it was a great value. All-in-all, it was a lovely night and we look forward to enjoying another meal when we next visit San Miguel de Allende.
