Great place, confusing address. It's closer to the street corner and labelled piano bar.

Popped in for a drink late afternoon and the terrace bar was quite busy. Ordered a beer and a coconut margarita (all margaritas are frozen) and it was lovely. Prices good. Our waiter was a little on the sombre side but other staff where very pleasant. The fact you have to walk through a bookstore to get to the bar is a great quirk.

Couldn't order a beer without buying food. Never had this requirement anywhere else in CDMX.

Food was delicious, prices are reasonable. Service was super slow. The waitress was very nice but she was the only one for the whole place and therefore it was very slow.

They won’t just let you have a beer without food — even if the place is empty. So if you want to come back here and just toss one back and read a book in homage to Buwkoski, you’re out of luck. Stupid policy. Avoid.

Huge shoutout to chef Mario Slim who made a special tomato based vegetable soup for a friend of ours who's vegetarian and severely allergic to chicken and chicken by products. I fell in love with this place and would totally visit again. Highly recommend!

Amazing bookstore and restaurant/bar/café. Beautiful outdoor area where we had food and drinks on several occasions during our stay. The staff is so welcoming and the service is excellent. The drinks are great. I recommend a shot of tequila with an accompanying shot of sangrita or a tamarind margarita. They’re delicious. The nachos and empanadas are a good snack. Located in a beautiful neighborhood within Mexico City. I would love to visit again. Update: It took me two years but I came back. Service was great. Absolutely loved the tamarind frozen Margarita. What the heck kind of blender do they use!? Lol I also had guac and the chicken taquitos. All delish.

Bit confusing to find as it's in the book store. Stopped here for a few beers and ended up having a snack. The nachos are legit the best I've ever had. However I'm from England so not exactly a professional nacho guy. Id highly recommend.
