El barrio es tranquilo, y se pueden encontrar muchos comercios cerca, como tienditas, panadería, venta de cena y otros. La atención por parte de los encargados es muy muy buena, siempre en constante comunicación. Cuentan con algunos enseres de cocina, como sartén, platos, vasos y cubiertos. Además, el bungalow que ocupamos contaba con refrigerador.
Nos hospedamos por tres noches, y descansamos de lo más agusto. La ubicación es muy buena.
De verdad 100% recomendado para descansar en su visita a Oaxaca.
An excellent experience in lodging. The place is very clean and cozy. The neighborhood is quiet, and you can find many shops nearby, such as stores, bakery, dinner sale and others. The attention from the managers is very good, always in constant communication. They have some kitchen utensils, such as frying pan, plates, glasses and cutlery. In addition, the bungalow we occupied had a refrigerator.
We stayed for three nights, and rested the most comfortable. The location is very good.
Really 100% recommended to rest in your visit to Oaxaca.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es un lugar muy bonito y acogedor, a pesar de que su dueño se tomó un descanso de dos años por covid y motivos personales, tuvimos la fortuna de ser sus primeros huéspedes después de este tiempo, cuenta con todo lo indispensable para una estadía, puedes cocinar, tomar un baño muy caliente, hay tiendas cercanas y lugares donde comer, si algo nos faltaba, los encargados amablemente nos lo facilitaban, un lugar 100% recomendable ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful experience at Bungalows Azucena during Día de Los Muertos. Javier and his family were incredibly attentive during our stay - this is very much a family-run hostel.
Our room had everything we might need. There was a kitchen, workspace, patio, hot water, comfortable bed, and nice lighting. This is definitely a space you could stay for an extended period of time and be quite content.
The neighborhood itself is authentically Mexican. Within a short walk, we found a few taquerías, ice cream shops, a small park, and some nice walking trails along a nearby creek.
Javier gave us some key tourist recommendations. Even though COVID restrictions shut-down most of the Día de Los Muertos festivities, we followed Javier's advice and were able to find a panteón open for the ceremonial candle lighting. And, just a few streets over from the Bungalows, we ran into a neighborhood parade. This is very much an authentic experience we would have missed had we stayed in the centro for our entire trip
