Bungalows Mazunte Tierra Viva - 70947 Mazunte

We had a great time. The place has an excellent location only 5 min to the beach and 5 min to the main street. The owners are super friendly and helpful. They arranged a taxi to the airport and gave us suggestions off places to visit in the area. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We stay in a room with shared kitchen. This was very convenient we could have breakfasts and some meals at the place. Highly recommended.

We found this place through booking.com. We wanted to come and see before we book it. A nice guy opened the door for us and showed us around. Then, the owner came. A grumpy old lady. She seemed nice at first, but then showed her true face. She offered me MXN 800 per night without booking.com, which I thought is fine. Then she told me that wouldn’t include the AC and there is currently not enough water, so it’s more expensive than advertised online. Then she told me the price in booking.com is not right. It says there is a USD 10 charge on top, if I use the A/C. I showed her the details on my phone before I booked, which clearly states AC is part of the booking without surcharge. So I told her we prefer to book on booking.com. Then she said, if we book on booking.com she won’t pay her employee the commission who showed us the room and was really nice. It’s a very strange strategy to prevent us booking through booking.com. Then she told us she doesn’t care and we can book online. Nevertheless, she was the whole time with her husband on the phone, who removed the availability on those days we wanted to book. So in the end we couldn’t book and were able to just accept her deal. We walked away. I’ve never seen something like that. I am really sorry for her employee. Rooms seemed to be nice. So I recommend everyone to just book online.

What an awesome place! The location is ideal in the center of town, the bed is comfortable, it has screens! And terrific water pressure. They were very nice when I got here, and the balcony is a bonus. Big thumbs up.

Very nice place in the centre of Mazunte, but really quite and peaceful. Good and clean rooms with airconditioning. Nice garden and very good wifi. The owners are so nice and friendly and always helping and giving advice. Excellent stay!

This place is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. It is a great location and close to everything. The people there are very friendly and helpful if you need ideas on what to do or how to get around.
