This is a landmark. By the Oxxo at Constitucion and Badillo Badillo. Orange buses to take you south.

It's an easy bus stop, you won't spend too long, but, if it's a sunny day or raining, be prepared, they won't let you get in the bus, it's not time yet

We took the bus here to get to the Botanical Gardens. We learned that it is far less expensive to travel by bus than from taxi.

The beginning and the end of the line. Depending which way you're headed. Pleasant trip either way. About 45 minutes each way. Beautiful path down highway 200 through the tropical rain forest. I love it. 10 pesos each way. Well worth the fair.

Although leary at first about taking the bus in Puerto Vallarta we quickly caught on Take either a Tunnel (faster) or Centro bus down to the Romantic zone get off the bus when it goes down V. Carrenzana just before (or after) Calle Constitucion then walk south on Constitucion for 2 blocks and you will usually see one or more busses parked in front of the Oxxo (you can see from the corner of Calle Constitucion and the street you got off the first bus) They will all say Mismaloya and sometimes other places on the front banner. Wait for the driver to get back on or ask them if they are not off on a break (or someone waiting at this stop there are usually some Anglophones there) to confirm the right bus. Get on, pay 10 pesos to the driver and away you go A bonus here's that the fare boxes are not used so the driver can make change if you only have a 20 (or more) pesos bill but it might be in coin only There are several stops along the way to Boca de Tomatlan where these buses turn around and go back. Note that you do have to get off and pay another 10 pesos for the return trip I would suggest stopping at Mismaloya at has a nice beach with free tables or lounges in front of the restaurants ( of course you do have to buy drinks/meals from the restaurant) Definitely go to Boca de Toumatian. Nice beach and easy to catch a water taxi to Yelepa and the other beaches further up the coast which are only accessible by water The beaches on the south coast tend to be cleaner (less scummy foam on the surface), more sand and less rock if the tide is in and waves are not as high/forceful
