I was extremely disappointed. Buvette in NYC was among my favorite restaurants and was excited to try it in CDMX. We ordered the onion soup which was luke warm and the coq au vin which was not good. It was overly salted and in fact we ordered something else to finish our meal. We ordered the famous tarte tatin and it was also inedible. The cheese plate selection was the best part of the meal. I will not be returning to this unfortunately.

Decent-ish wine and ok food. I was the only person eating and it took the kitchen 30 minutes to get my meal on the table. And the wine is overpriced in my opinion. If you're gonna charge 175 pesos per small glass, at least serve the same amount in a nice big glass to extract all the aromas and make it a pleasant experience. Staff were friendly and attentive but I was one of the only people in the restaurant..

Horrible experience, it’s a shame since the decor is pretty nice. The chairs are extremely uncomfortable by design, but if that wasn’t enough the tables are tiny and the waiters keep harassing you every 2 min passively aggressively pouring more water and asking if you won’t order something else (to make you leave as soon as possible). Also the food is horrible, the waffles are obviously frozen probably bought at the nearest Walmart as you can see in the photo.

Nice atmosphere, kind staff BUT 1. Qr code for menu not working 2. Very small menu - but delicious 3. We were offered desserts way too late I ordered two appetizers and was still hungry after two plates - ended up at el diez nearby for a steak.

The Pain Perdu and Croques were fantastic!!! Good value and a wonderful experience! All that we had other than that was over priced and not particularly good. The pain au chocolate were veeeeery expensive, and significantly under expectations.

My new favorite place for coffee, French pastries, and light breakfast in Roma Norte. Located just steps away from the beautiful "Plaza Luis Cabrera" park. The restaurant has a very well executed French-themed atmosphere with seating indoors and outdoors. Super attentive and professional waitstaff. Evidently someone is doing a great job at managing this place! Lunch and dinner are also offered, but I've not yet gotten to taste it. Will update this review after I do so. ~~~ 11/16/21 Gone back two nights in-a-row to try their specials. First I tried the burger. The next night their onion soup. With both dishes I was quite pleased and I highly recommend them! The burger can be prepped with your choice of cheese. Ask for options. ~~~ 11/23/21 OMG!!! Their escargot is to die for--and I've had it both in Paris and Quebec City! And let me tell you... They do a pretty darn good job here!!!

I’ve been to Buvette before just for breakfast. I just had lunch here with a friend and I could only say it was even better! I had the beef tartar and you shouldn’t miss it, it’s a fantastic tartar in Mexico City. I was really surprised about the chicken salad, it was even better than it sounds on menu. Another favorite was the salmon. For dessert you MUST have the French toast. Its so good I’d go and just have that and coffee, although everything is so good. Service is fantastic, they make really great suggestions and all of them are super friendly. The venue is nice, really chic, classic buvette.

A beautiful French-style restaurant with friendly service and tasty dishes. Great for a weekend brunch or an intimate dinner with family and friends. The building is decorated with lots of pretty touches, even the restroom. While the food in general is pretty good, and the concept feels original for Mexico City (most other French restaurants are merely for high end dining), the portions are unnecessarily small and and the prices are higher than the quality in general.
