Cabañas ecológicas "El Buque" - Av. Villa del Mar

La mejor experiencia, cuando nos fuimos por la Cruz de Loreto, toda una aventura de camino... Excelente lugar, excelentes anfitriones... PD váyanse por el Tuito, el camino esta mucho mejor

Si te gusta apartarte de lo cotidiano y vivir una experiencia verdadera con la naturaleza, estas cabañas son lo ideal, son muy frescas por dentro y cómodas, la señora Esthela y el Sr Juan son unos anfitriones increíbles!

What an amazing place! So beautiful, tranquil, natural. Juan and Esthela are wonderful hosts.

I love the owners, my Mexican parents. Juan and Estella have created by hand a beautiful natural outdoor space with 3 or 4 cabañas palapas built with mud and sticks. It rained unexpectedly for a couple of days and not a drop inside! Optional solar lighting was added since last year making it easy to get oriented and find your glasses or other items in a hurry. The horse walk on the beach and/or mountain is a must do.

Wonderful friendly host Juan, and beautiful, well-kept cabanas. I will come back here soon!

Is a dream come true!! It was wonderful to staying here. We even stayed an extra night. The fact that is so primitive place gives that magical experience. There is a little light that charges with sun light, they do have running water and a really nice bbq kitchen to cook. The owners are super friendly and the lady do amazing medicinal masajes. I definitely recommend this place. Justbin case of emergency the owners have Wi-Fi in their cabaña. The town is really near. 5 minutes in car or 15 minutes walking. There's 2 groceries stores to buy all you need to cook. No phone signal. There is showers and clean linens. Bonfire area is really nice. If you have any questions just ask. The little bay make an amazing sound efect on the sea wave. Is no recommended to bait in this area of the beach. Waters are strong.

We had an awesome time at El Buque. We stayed in both the ocean front cabañas, one month in each. The hosts Juan and Estella are the nicest people you will ever meet. This is true off-grid living, no electricity and limited wifi. There is running water and if you want a warm shower, wait till the afternoon. If you are staying for a longer period, you may want to bring a solar panel to charge phones, lights etc. The little town Villa del Mar is a just few minutes down the road and there are a few shops that are well stocked. There are a few little restaurants that are open in the weekend. Not many people speak english, so a good opportunity to practice your spanish. If you are looking for authentic Mexican, this is the place. You can't swim at this beach but 10 min north is Tehualmixtle, where you can swim. There is also a small beach in Mayto where you can swim. Before driving here for the first time, you may want to download a map on your phone for directions. Cell reception is sparse. We are already planning our next stay here and will make it a yearly occurrence.
