You like beaches without people? You like to take your pet with you for holiday and get for miles of walk on sand with your dogs swimming in the sea? Then „El Cielito“ is YOUR place! People are incredibly friendly and patient. The little cabins are simple but clean although they would need a makeover. Nice location also for families with kids. If you do not want it loud pick a cabin away from the pool. Highly recommended place for pet-owners and people which love lonely walks on the beach.

Stumbled across El Cielito purely by accident and so glad we did, beautiful location to just relax. We were fortunate enough to stay in an Ocean view room. The rooms could use some maintenance particularly in the bathrooms, blocked shower head (common issue it would seem in Mexico) The mosquito netting around the bed was very useful, we were lucky that the resort was quiet and had the pool to ourselves the entire time. The restaurant food was OK, not great but did not leave hungry. Service was good and from what I could see the kitchen was spotless. We were informed that the internet was not working so had to drive to a small fishing village to find a wireless connection in order to arrange flight check in’s. The restaurant wine options were limited but what was available was decent. While we are used to 5 star accommodations this was a pleasing change and I would recommend. Unfortunately due to a very strong undertow the Ocean is not swimable but with miles of undeveloped beach to walk not being able to swim was not an issue. We would return for a 3 or 4 night stay but based on the location and limited options do not think we would stay longer. Great value, beautiful location, challenging to find and tough road to drive in a rental car....

Amazing location for peace and quiet. On site restaurant that serves good Mexican food. Be sure to try their grilled seafood platter consisting of shrimp, crab, mussels and octopus. It’s a large plate designed for two. Reasonably priced bar drinks. Good margaritas! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It’s a bit hard to get too but it’s well worth it if you want to be away from the crowds of tourists. Miles and miles of deserted beaches for you to explore. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to observe turtles laying their eggs. Cabañas were rudimentary but satisfactory with cold AC and clean. Pretty good considerIng the remoteness of the resort. Get the rooms with the ocean view. You will not regret it. I would certainly be back again. 4 stars for overall experience, 5 stars would be for location and 3 for accommodations.

We only ate breakfast here. The food is good and the customer service is great. They only have traditional Mexican dishes. The setting is very pretty and very well kept. Lots of beautiful vegetation and very clean.

This charming place is in the middle of a virgin beach with spectacular views of the looong stretch beach and sunsets at night. The staff is fantastic and very friendly. The food is great. Th chilaquiles are one of the best I've tried in my life. This place has a infinity pool that you won't be able to leave in all day. The cabins are rustic, clean and have all you need. I had two amazing relaxing days and I can't wait to go back!

One of my favorite places on Earth! The staff is so nice and accommodating and the restaurant had delicious food. You can request to have dinner and a bonfire on the beach, made our last night very special.

Make sure you drive in from the north and not from the south... Unless you have a real off road 4x4. Amazing spot. VERY secluded. Very limited meal options -only reason not giving 5 stars.
