Such a lovely place to stay in a picturesque town. Very well equipped with everything you need for a cold night. Super cosy - we wish we’d stayed longer! Quite a “adventurous” road to the cabins but don’t let that put you off as plenty of flat parking and worth it for the secluded, exclusive views. Pictures are the same view point, just evening and the next morning.

Incredible! Great views and rustic charm. Be ready to take a moto into town and back. Can’t wait for their restaurant to be finished!

After using my credit card on your homepage for booking, my card details were used for random bookings in Canada and us - one day after and continously. So I needed to block my card. Since since you were the only place I used that card for in MEX (rest was booked via Airbnb or hostelworld) , the steal of data can only come from you or someone who hacked your system. Please check that!! To others, be careful with your credit card here!!!

I loved my stay here and I'd definitely recommend it if you are visiting San Jose del pacifico! It's true it's a bit out of town, but you can either walk for a bit less than 30 mins or order a motortaxi and in 10 mins you are in the village. According to me it's worth it to stay immerse in the nature! There are around 10 chalet/cabanes of different sizes, all with a private balcony with an amazing view. Our cabane was very clean, with an incredibly comfortable (and warm) bed and a fireplace. I loved it :) Other good points: warm water all the time ( not a lot of pressure but we are still in the mountains!), pretty ok WiFi, great coffee! If I have to give a couple of recommendation to make it even better, knowing that it is not necessary just a nice ad on :) : - more towels per person or bigger ones - some carpets around the bed maybe, the floor gets very cold - in our cabane there was only an armchair, a small sofa or two armchairs would have been more comfortable being 2 people

Tried to charge me nearly $50 extra for my service dog. Mexican law states I do not need to pay extra nor do I have to explain the reason why I need a service animal. The front desk staff took cash from me (so I could leave) and then proceeded to ask for more money through Airbnb. ***My dog is non-shedding and hypoallergenic. He has hair and not dog fur. I refute any attempts to recover more money from me.*** With the price I paid for the cabin, these actions seemed extortive. This was the furthest form of hospitality I had expected in this little town. Other than that, this cabin would be good for a group. I like that they have games and a speaker system. The fire pits were also nice.

One of the best experiences in Mexico. The cabañas are really beautiful as seen in the pictures. The stuff was great and really attentive to our needs. The place is magical and sure one of the reasons to visit again.

Beautiful stay with gorgeous views all around. We stayed in the ‘rustico’ cabin which felt like a magical treehouse with pines growing right through the balcony porch. Our room was spotlessly clean, and staff were very friendly and helpful. One unfortunate thing was that our hot water only lasted for about two minutes so we had to take quick showers. That being said, we still loved our stay here and would consider it again in the future.

Lovely lodge & beautiful location but the lodge was very cold. Not enough firewood & no other form of heating. We stayed 2 nights & I did not sleep well because of cold. Also accommodation is self catering but no decent shop to buy stuff if needed. Did sell wine though which was good. My suggestion would be to provide electric blankets or more blankets & not My water bottles. Also a small m8ni mart to sell few basic food stuff. If these suggestions were put in place, I would rate it 5 star.
