A	Agathe Evain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent most of my night chasing cockroaches around the room. Not the most pleasant experience. Sheets not too clean either. Too bad because the staff was really friendly and helpful.
J	Jake Lewis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was a great experience. If you take a bus, dropped off at Xpujil, you can either wait for a collectivo during the day to get our there or pay for a cab. I walked once and took a cab the other time. Walking was nice but long, there is a path, I wouldn't recommend walking at night, even though I had NO issues. Arranged to explore Calakmul with some others staying at hostel for an affordable rate. Checked out the bat cave just before sunset which was not a tourist attraction and instead a marvel of our beautiful planet. Calakmul was unreal and could have easily spent another day/night there. Dosed and wandered and rarely ran into people all day. Get there EARLY
R	Ramona Tomasowa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in a hotel room. Very nice, spacious and clean with ac, tv and free wifi. The place has a swimming pool and a restaurant with good food. We stayed here because it is close to the ruins in this area. We may go there again, because we did not visit all of them.
M	Maddie Quinn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place! Very welcoming and friendly staff. The accommodations feel comforting and are really clean, with the feel that we stayed in a very natural area. Spectacular food!! Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area.

The restaurant is also a place where you can work and spend the whole day if you need to. No need to consume to stay in a table. The hostel part, where I stayed for 8 nights, was almost empty. Sadly I was designated to be at the second floor and the smells from the kitchen at the ground floor came in very often. If you need a budget place in a very calm site I really recommend this place. Rooms are more expensive than the hostel but it worths for a family, a couple or a group.

It was almost clean and very spacious, but some sockets didn't work and the TV only presented snowfall on every channel. I think they build the house step by step and these things will be fixed in the next weeks/months. Air conditioning, shower, etc were really good. They offer dinner for 100$, it tasted well, nothing special. We didn't booked breakfast, nevertheless the also offered breakfast. Coffee, fruits and eggs with bean 'mule'. Also ok, but add the end the charged us 390$ for two persons... not what I expected. Anyway, its a nice location with pool in the garden and apart from the breakfast price, I recommend it.
F	Fran B. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good! Don't expect luxuries; you only will get a soft bed, an spacious room (with basic amenities) and a huge pool! Kitchen it's simple, but delicious. The town (1,000 population) it's an interesting place, founded over the remanent of a timber encampment.
