M	Mary Chayka-Crawford on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Hidden Gem I had dinner at Cabane last night with friends and it was wonderful. The setting is gorgeous (go for sunset), the owners and staff very customer service oriented and the space is unique. The road there is a bit long and better signage is needed (Google Maps will get you there) but it's well worth the drive. Virginia and her husband have created an amazing destination for a meal or overnight and their labors are astounding. Enjoy!
g	greta g on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed this beautiful space with its stunning view, amazing designed rooms and the infinity pool. We had a great breakfast with a view on the terrace. Virginie and her man were so lovely hosts- they made us feel very comfortable. A big recommendation in every point of view!
C	Corny Witt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was one of the best vacation experiences I ever had! The rooms, the pool, the common area - everything is absolutely perfect! And if you fancy having a private, beautiful beach mostly for yourself, it takes just a 5 minutes walk from there. Virginie, Ruben and Dexter (a cute little Chihuahua) are incredible hosts and it felt more like staying with good friends than staying at a hotel. And please make sure to try Ruben's food - he's an excellent chef! The only negative thing I can say is that we had to leave at some point as our vacation ended. Hope to come back soon to Cabane!!

You can walk to an almost deserted beach in less than five minutes. During daytime you can even walk all along it to la punta.
R	Robin Hardie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Boo, bad attitude Since you asked, we arranged ahead of our visit to come and check your place out for a friend looking for a unique and private stay near puerto Escondido. We were told that we were welcome to come see the place. When we arrived, we were greeted with grumpy suspicion. We told the man that we thought we had permission and we’re expected. He place. Phone call to someone then allowed us, grudgingly to order a tequila. We politely and very respectfully tried to ask him a few, questions. He was very uninterested in helping us at all and charged us a ridiculous amount of $ for our simple shots of tequila. We left as soon as we could without any information and a very bad taste in our mouths. Needless to say, we did not refer our friend to this inn. The warm and welcoming photos on the internet must be very outdated.
C	Catherine Worthy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely loved this property. It is a boutique property with only 4 units currently. The rooms have a king size bed and bathroom with shower. Each room has a deck with a hammock, table and chairs. There is a fan and air conditioning in the rooms. Breakfast and dinner were both amazing. Generous portions. Beer, wine and cocktails are available. I generally don’t return to the same hotel twice as there are so many places to see in the world but I will make an exception for here. I loved this hotel and will return.
M	Mark Willis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From start to finish Virginie made everything the ideal holiday. Nothing was too much. She went above and beyond The rooms have exceptional air con. Good showers and very comfy bed. The staff are super friendly. And the chef in the afternoon is phenomenal. Some of the best food I tasted came from that kitchen. You are a short walk from a pretty much private beach. I read you had to get taxis to get anywhere but if you want to be away from the busy town or beach strip and guarantee a good sleep then Cabane is the place. Most evenings you can hear nothing but the sound of the waves. (Most taxis won’t cost you more then $5. ) We will be coming back 100%. Thanks Virginie Charlie and Rach
