★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ha pasado tanto tiempo y está cabeza de la serpiente emplumada quiere salir del Mictlán pero a lo largo de esto ya sido testigo de muchísimos acontecimientos en el lugar, uno e ellos el saber si realmente se guardan los restos de Hernán Cortés en la iglesia justo al frente.
Lamentablemente mucha gente no sabe esto y lo últimos algunas veces hasta como baño público.

An der Ecke, die derzeit die Straßen José María Pino Suárez und República de El Salvador bildet, unter dem Meer von Menschen, die täglich durch diese belebte Gegend des historischen Zentrums gehen, haben nur wenige das spektakuläre Haupt erkannt einer Schlange, die während der Mexica-Zeit fein in Basalt geschnitzt wurde. Das Stück wurde während des Vizekönigreichs als eine Art dekoratives Element für den Bau des Palastes der Grafen von Calimaya wiederverwendet. Heute zeigt es stolz seine großen Kiefer in einer der Ecken des heutigen Stadtmuseums.

On the corner that currently forms José María Pino Suárez and República de El Salvador streets, under the sea of people who pass through this busy area of the historic center every day, few have recognized the spectacular head of a snake that died during the Mexica -Time was finely carved in basalt. The piece was reused as a sort of decorative element in the construction of the palace of the Counts of Calimaya during the Viceroyalty. Today it proudly displays its large jaws in one of the corners of what is now the City Museum.
