We gave this 4 stars because we were staying when a massive rain storm came through and half the dormitory was soaked! The roof has lots of leaks in it. So it's great as long as the weather holds up! It's up the hill but worth it for the view!
C	Christian Panas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple and spare with a spectacular view and close to all of Mazunte, and a great price. My dorm room was barebones but for me a gem. Fay was very helpful with everything including recommending a nearby place when there were no rooms left to stay. Tricky walk down to the beach at the moment due to construction after rain-damage, but you can also use the stairs right next door. The beach at the bottom is spectacular for swimming and body surfing and you can walk down it to busier spots right by the main drag. YMMV, but I was more than happy.

There are sweet tree house style Cabanas... With hammocks...private or dorms available too! The restaurant has delicious pesto paninis and fresh bakery ...great prices and sweet chill vibe

The water in the shower barely worked, it was hardly enough to even take a shower. Also, I was staying on the lower level of a cabana and there was another room above me. At around 4:30am I heard lots of stomping and it sounded like someone dropping something. The only positive thing was the view. The villas overlook the beach and are maybe a 10 minute walk down. The sunrise was pretty incredible.

When I walked up to find the reception, everyone just stared at me instead of offering help. When I finally asked where to go, I got nothing but short, rude responses in return. The bathrooms weren't clean at all, and they rooms were completely over booked. Everyone I met staying there was uncomfortable as well. I had 4 nights booked and I left after my first night. Of course they were rude when I decided to do that as well. They didn't even care to ask why I wanted to leave so early! I could not NOT recommend this place enough.

The missing half is because of the hostileness you feel from many of the people working at the place, cleaning Woman and some of them in the kitchen. I didn't really mind because I can understand the way they are feeling , and I found it quite humorous at times. but the truth is that its not a good way to treat customers. Like for instance telling me there is no cinnamon rolls when I can see them laying there almost right in front of me. I know the girls are just playing but a person with no or less humor, would probably not find it funny.

The towels provided were towels cut in half and were quite stained. The sheets were raggedy. There’s no kitchen and the cafe didn’t really seem to have much food. The owners could be pretty rude and seem quite disorganised.
