… un sueño en el que buscábamos crear una cafetería donde todos fueran recibidos con los brazos abiertos.
Cada mañana la alondra alegre inicia el día para contar con su canto, una nueva historia a quien la escucha.
Alondra Café y Terraza comenzó su historia durante diciembre de 2006, siendo desde el primer día un nido confortable para muchos.
No pudimos haber elegido mejor lugar para anidar que en el corazón histórico de Cuernavaca, dentro de un ala del Museo la Casona Spencer (recinto dedicado al arte y la cultura); y sobre el corredor turístico entre el Jardín Borda, la Catedral y el Palacio de Cortés.

You would think they own the place. If you are visiting cuernavaca you will be tempted to come here because it's cute. But please don't waste your time and money!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is very good and reasonably priced. Very nice place to sit and enjoy the view of the historic town. Waiter didn’t speak English and made some mistakes ( he didn’t try to explain in Spanish either) , but manager fixed everything right away. Other waiters seem to be very nice and accommodating. Excellent place to have breakfast or meal in Cuernavaca.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been here previously many years ago, and this last trip ensured I won't be going back. After waiting 20 minutes with very few other customers around, I asked the staff where my drinks were. They immediately produced a naranjada that had very little juice in it and a mango frappe with giant chunks of ice in it. That couldn't have been a more clear sign that my patronage isn't wanted or appreciated. Walk ten feet and go to the place next door instead. Thank you Cafe Alondra for wasting my time and money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food wasn't great, it was mostly a tourist trap. We only went there as we had a little ones and our family friends did not want to venture out about 2 blocks away. If you don't mind, walking 1 block or 2 going north and you will find food and drinks half the price.
We ordered their house specialty sandwiches (stacy). Bread was stale for everyone, sandwiches were full of mustard not just a little mustard, it was dripping. When we mentioned that it had too much mustard, they asked if we wanted to order another sandwiches without mustard. No where in the menu it mentions mustard. Anyway I had myself and kids remove the mustard with a paper tower and had to order another sandwich without mustard for the youngest. Big disappointment for the amount of money we paid. We expected better.
My wife thinks they might have done the mustard thing intentionally; that's the vibe she got.
I DO NOT recommend this place to eat. Skip past go and eat elsewhere for half the cost.
