★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oaxaca has a ton of good coffee shops but this is one of my favs. Really nice staff, they help you decide what coffee to drink, multiple methods of brewing chemex, hario, french press, siphon. Always make it back here when I'm in Oaxaca. They also have pretty fast wifi for working. Check out both locations!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to walk around the side streets of Oaxaca this is the chance to do it. Café Caracol Púrpura is at the skirt of a hill called Cerro del Fortín. Delicious and well roasted coffee is what you are going to find here. Very friendly service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best coffee I had in Oaxaca! The place is quiet, perfect to work on laptops, write or read. The quality of coffee is excellent, same for their chocolate. They roast their coffee beans, coming from local producer and do their own chocolate also. They also do tasting workshops. I will go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything you wish for in a coffee shop! Really tasty high quality coffee and a batista that knows his coffee game. He recommended which coffee to choose for which extraction method and it was so good. Also the place has wifi and free drinking water if you need to do some travel planning or working. Nice place to just hang out for a bit! On top of that the staff is really friendly and you can buy some small souvenirs in the store. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
