★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are staying in the neighbourhood for 4 weeks. It's our fifth visit to PV. What a nice find. Excellent food. A very warm welcome from Mark, the owner.
We learned that Mark pulled up stakes in Edmonton, Alberta 2 years ago. We left Edmonton 15 years back for the natural beauty and mild winters in Vancouver, BC.
Cafe D'eli will now become one of our go to stops for coffee, breakfast and deserts during our many anticipated visits to PV.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best coffee I had in PV. A couple blocks from the Malecon but worth the walk. I got a quad shot over ice. Mexican coffee has different flavors and aromas so it was nice to see espresso done right, by a barista instead of the typical watered down coffee at restaurants or mass-produced burned coffee by the big green S.
Guacamole was really good here as well and made fresh to order as is usually done in Mexico. Very clean inside and bright which was refreshing. Local art is displayed inside if you're into that sort of thing. They have a light deli menu and desserts which I wish we didn't just eat as the menu looked good.
Owner is a very nice Mexican lady but very fluent in English so communication wasn't a problem for us.
Only negative for me is that I wanted to buy some of their coffee beans but they only sold already ground beans.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this great cafe just a few blocks from my apartment. The owners are so lovely and friendly, and the food, coffee, and juices are to die for! I recommend the avocado toast with an extra egg. Yum yum yum!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very small eatery a block north of Cafe Artiste in Colonia Centro. I had the avacado toast which is very popular on many local restaurants here. This one was served on toasted wheat bread lightly buttered with a cooked to order egg on too (mine over-hard) an a tablespoon of fruit salad. Yes, l was starved an hour later but l am sure the young lady who prepared it did exactly as she was taught. I should have ordered a cinnamon roll to fill the void. Next time! And, l will go back, but will order more food! Check them out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Latte is creamy & delicious. French toast is perfect for a big breakfast. Great service, clean restaurant, with positive local flare. My favorite coffee shop in PV. I'd recommend rewarding yourself with one of Cafe Deli's drinks after hiking the trail to the cross.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They really do have the best coffee in town and we have sampled quite few. Delicious fresh sandwiches with tasty salad. Can order fresh bread from them in advance as also sell coffee grounds from reputable coffee farm. And every cop of delicious coffee, is served with a cookie at the table. Nice touch. we go often

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was very friendly and funny. The food was delicious and not very expensive at all. They had delicious lattes and the flavoured eaters were to die for! I always had the pineapple with other fruits..very refreshing. They always remembered us and even came out into the the street to say hi as we passed by with our dogs one day. HIGHLY recommend ??
