★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food POISINING! The staff poisoned my girlfriends food. My girlfriend returned a latte because it was made horribly. You could tell the waiter was irate. The staff came out laughing when she drank and ate her food. Also he wrote the check in a very angry way and charged for the free bread! We didn’t pay for the bread. We paid, got up and got away from the restaurant. Anyways, we get home and my girlfriend who is a very healthy person, who lives in Mexico and is Mexican and is used to the food, got terribly ill. I advise not to go there, shady all around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite places in La Roma. The food is spectacular (from Veracruz), the service is great. Pola and her crew are the nicest and this place is always involved in helping the community (covid, earthquake, ...). Oh and did I mention they have the best pozole in town?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great staff. Traditional huasteca food with Mexico City influence. Bread is good, café con leche is great, and the concha rellena is a must. As is the case in other places, they overdo it a bit with too much bread, which is a bit wasteful. Maybe make a note to not bring extra bread to the table unless you ask.
