★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Cafe Palacio in theory is a place of prestige as the main shop. Unfortunately my experiences with their food have not been good, in general. Often their soups or consome are salted (very salted) or don't meet the spectative of quality. Also, sometimes the attention and attitudes of the personnel are not what you may spect of that kind of place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great quality food for a happy price. They make more upmarket food and have an excellent selection of offerings. Whether it is for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The coffee can perhaps be a little lacklustre for Westerners, it is only percolated - what is locally called americano. Their specials at certain types of the year celebrate food from different parts of the country. This is an excellent destination for authentic Mexican food that will definitely not leave you out of pocket!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went for breakfast. Get the "paquete" = package. Fresh squeezed juice or fresh fruit, coffee and then lots of great typical dishes. Not all Mexican food is spicy.
Great staff, excellent COVID PROTOCOLS but like in the US theyre starting to relax. Clean clean tables above average washrooms. In a high end shopping center. (Prada) 300.00 pesos with tip. 15 US. Amazing coffee!
