Waitor wasnt very friendly.
I couldnt exchance coffee for tea or get small dish of fruit, i needed to buy the large fruit salad instead. There are much better places in center.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has been a favourite on my whole two week stay in Merida. I always tipped 15-20 % and was happy with everything. Tonight when I got my change back on the vill I was specifically told that propina is not included. Before I even had the chance to leave a tip. The waiter knows me by now so I find his behaviour really rude and strange. And guess if I left a tip this time? Guess if I am going back? :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has a large outdoor patio in the plaza that has comfy chairs, sofas and love seats as well as other chairs. The staff are very attentive almost too attentive actually. Live music in medium bursts, followed by other musicians which was a nice touch. Prices were reasonable for what it is.
We didn't try any of the food but would consider coming back for a meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For sitting outside and having a few drinks its OK. For food, go elsewhere and do not waste your money. It is basic to the lowest level. If you have ever tried Mexican food and Yucateca Cuisine, you will leave this spot appalled.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is ok, not any special, though. Good huevos motuleños and molletes, but not amazing. The atmosphere is lovely, though, sitting outside. But the bathrooms are filthy and an absolute disgrace. Makes you wonder how dirty the kitchen might be. If I come back, it’ll be for a drink and sit outside, I would not eat here again after I saw the bathroom.
