★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, what can I say about Cafe Umaran that hasn't been said already? In a few short months, they've won the hearts of tourists and locals alike. What's not to love about oven fresh breads, gigantic saucers of coffee, delectable (and at times festive) pastries, delicious sandwiches and an insanely cool indoor wooden tree hanging over you as you enjoy your meal?
The service is beyond exceptional and they do offer a 15% discount to frequent visitors or VIPs. My heart skipped a beat when I received my special black card. Shoutout goes to the staff for their outstanding care and service and answering my million questions with patience and grace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this little cafe in San Miguel! Amazing pastries that we had to go back twice on our day trip. My boyfriend said the best Carajillo his ever had was from here too. Eduardo who took care of us was soooo helpful and great! Best service! He deserves a raise! ????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow this place was perfect. I was craving for real French bread which I couldn’t find here in Mexico. Their bread selection was excellent!!!! If you are in San Miguel, don’t miss it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place downtown, taro lavanda definitely stole our hearts, I wish I could say same thing about their desserts.
Overall desserts are good but we ordered “Nutella” croissant, even though it was filled with a lot of chocolate, it definitely wasn’t Nutella. The very same disappointment happened with “Nutella Concha”.
Prices are above average, service and covid precautions are excellent.
