★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THE neighborhood hang out! And for good reasons. THE BEST coffee in GTO. Ask anyone and Café Tal will be the first utterance.
Coffee drinks are prepared with detailed consistency. Rich with fine chocolates and depth of roasted coffee beans. A minimal menu, but all items of high quality with croissants, muffins, and a delightful fresh fruit/yoghurt plate to name a few.
The owner ,Greg, runs a fine business with many employees having worked for him for a long time. Always a great sign. We are beyond fortunate to have his business in our neighborhood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 cafes on same street. Both excellent espresso. The downtown cafe is old & no roof seating. Newer cafe with roof umbrellas which hold stagnant water - breeds mosquitoes. Zika heaven. Please drain the water!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great coffee for a great price! Best coffee I had in Guanajuato. Bought a bag of beans to take home. Will definitely be back next time I go to Guanajuato. Both locations are nice, the one near the center is busier than the one along Paseo de La Presa. At least when I was there. Location at Paseo de La Presa has a great rooftop terrace!
