I am traveling from the US and needed a fresh fade both hair and beard. I had a very bad experience at another barber shop in the city and walked out mid cut. I found out about Cali Cuts on google and decided to give it a try. Eduardo, the owner and main barber was extremely welcoming to his shop. He speaks Spanish/ English which made it very easy for me to explain what I wanted. He cleaned up my heat and took his time making sure it was perfect. He pays very close attention to detail and really understands different types of hair. Overall experience was great and the atmosphere was dope. Light hip hop and collage of photos hung up in his shop featuring legends (Muhammad Ali, Bruce Lee, The Beatles) get their hair cuts. Please visit Eduardo and be sure to tell him that Ahmad sent you! Also, Eduardo is an amazing story teller and has some gone through some wild life experiences. Be sure to start a convo. For the quality of the haircut the rates was too affordable that I recommend adding an additional tip for the freshest haircut you’re about to receive.

Great fade and beard trim that I definitely needed to get. He provides a great Cali experience and is an awesome dude to talk to. He even let's you play whatever music you want to listen to. It's a short Taxi ride from the downtown area,to a barber that has many yrs of experience and won't disappoint you.

Choosing a barber when you are traveling can be stressful even more so when your usual haircut is a skin fade. I saw the good reviews that this shop had and decided to give it a try as I was 2+ weeks out from my last one from my usual guy at home. Eduardo is a really nice guy and gave me a great fade that had me feeling fresh! The price is very good and he also speaks English so I had no problems telling him what I was looking for. His shop is a short walk from the Jalatlaco neighborhood or you could take a cab if you had to. Make sure you book in advance through the Whatsapp posted here, he works by appointment.

Great experience. I was able to communicate effectively via WhatsApp and set-up an appointment. I walked from Oxaca historical district and got a chance to explore another neighborhood. Haircut/beard trim was excellent!
