Primero se llamó ‘Callejón de la Bolsa’ y después ‘Callejón del Socialismo’ y como sus diversos nombre lo hacen notar, este callejón representa la historia de Morelia. Increíble lugar para disfrutar en pareja o con la familia. This small alley was built at the end of the 19th century. It was first called ‘Callejón de la Bolsa’ and later ‘Callejón del Socialismo’ and as its various names make it clear, this alley represents the history of Morelia. Incredible place to enjoy as a couple or with the family.

El es callejón mas bonito de la ciudad y en parte es porque no tiene competencia al ser el único que existe. Si quieren ver más callejones diríjanse a Guanajuato. En la entrada hay un corazón gigante que identifica el lugar. El callejón fue bautizado así en el all de 1965 ya que a lo largo del mismo se pueden ver los versos del poema “Romance a mi ciudad” de Lucas Ortíz. El callejón existe desde el siglo XIX y fue llamado en su momento callejón de la bolsa (por que literal te bolseaban cuando entrabas) o callejón del Socialismo. Las fuentes que se encuentran actualmente en el lugar no son de esa época, sino son elementos añadido recientemente para darle más atractivo al lugar. Caminando por el de pueden encontrar desde restaurantes hasta una galería, aunque también hay pequeñas casas particulares que antes eran de los trabajadores de una fábrica de jabón que funcionaba en la zona. Caminando a lo largo de esta calle podrás leer versos del poema “Romance de mi Ciudad”, de Don Lucas Ortiz, que ostenta en sus muros y por el cual se le dio su nombre. En 1965 se remodeló el callejón (su aniversario es el 29 de septiembre), colocando cantera a las fachadas y pisos, instalando las fuentes, farolas, jardinerías, y asignándosele oficialmente el nombre del “Callejón del Romance”.
