The camp is nice but except for climbing Peña del Cuervo there is not much to do and the cabins they rent are very simple.

Excellent park for camping and hiking, it has shelters with areas for campfires and barbecues, recommended to go in a group, forget about the city and enjoy the forest in a safe place and with access to two viewpoints Peña del Cuervo and Cruz de los black, ideal for having a good time walking through the forest; if you want you can take a tent or go to a shelter, the camp has loads of firewood, toilets with water and showers, it is well signposted inside and the routes to the rock and the viewpoint are well defined; To go to Cruz de los Negros you leave the Dos Aguas camp and walk on a dirt road and at the first barbed wire fence you cross it and you only have to climb to the summit, in my experience it is highly recommended how much for a store or shelter take extra blankets for safety and not get cold in any season, a tip that worked for us was to go to the boy's mineral town specifically to the store "La Fortuna", since they have a variety of groceries, drinks, consumables for the car, they sell blankets ($150) and firewood "tied" ($70), in general a place with "sanitary comforts", it is highly recommended to go out to the viewpoints at approximately 5:45 in the morning to see the sunrise.

Very beautiful and super quiet, it is an ideal place to rest and have contact with nature. The attention is excellent, very attentive. In my case, a young man named Luis attended us and he is super friendly. They make patrols at night and that makes you feel safe. Highly recommended.

Magnificent place. If you are adventurous and want to do basic to intermediate hiking this is a good place. The direct path from the camp to the Peña del Cuervo is magnificent. 2km ~ of silence, birdsong, the smell of pine, oak and oyamel catches you.
The place is very safe and the truth is worth camping in the light of the moon. It has a drinking spring water tank and toilets. You don't need more, just the adventurous attitude and sharing an alumbrada with your friends, your partner or family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The forest here is just beyond amazing, the trails are beautiful, the weather rainy and chilly, the campsite is decent , it has hot water and latrines, fire pits and all the amenities you could want, so make it a priority to get here , you won't regret it, this is by far , one of the most amazing old forests you could find in all of Mexico

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous place to camp! You’re really off the grid and in the middle of a very green and lush forest. Spots are very private and apparently there’s even toilets and hot showers but they didn’t look well kept. Keep in mind rainy season EVERYTHING is constantly drenched and it’s a good 5-10 min walk uphill to actual campsites. Also don’t lose your receipt, cuz otherwise they’ll treat you like a criminal when you try to leave. Only reason place doesn’t get 5 stars from me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comparable with almost all other campsites in Mexico I have visited - this is the best. There are around 10 isolated places where you can camp with privacy. There are approx 10 roofed wooden shelters too. Beautiful forest surrounds you. There are ecotoilets and showers - works but lack of maintainment. No hot water. The service from Juan, a man who work there, was amazing.
