Good place to base and start your camping

It is very beautiful, it is the first time we go and there was no snow. When you go up, on the way we find a place that had little snow, not so much. If you go, take your precautions and take into account that you are going to climb a lot if you do it by car and when you go down, be careful with the brakes because it happened to us that the brakes were hard on the truck, so be careful.

It is a magical place, close to heaven. Its 3,000 MSNM make it special, very practical to rest, camp, take a breath and resume the journey to the summit.

Excellent place for camping and hiking.

An excellent location, in the heart of this La Joya ravine in the Nevado de Colima. Surrounded by beautiful pine and oyamel forest. It has its chalets with a fireplace, 4 rooms per chalet, each room with 6 beds and a separate bathroom with 2 toilets and 2 showers. The cost is acceptable $300.00 per person per night. For those who do not want to camp and have a toilet and hot water, it is worth it. It has areas for camping, picnic. The most beautiful and admirable are several murals with landscapes that take the nature of that place, its fauna, owls, bats, bumblebees, woodpeckers, hummingbirds and of course the peak of the Nevado and the great cone of the volcano. Today, February 13, the forest is covered in snow, the beautiful combination of humidity and cold made this landscape.
