Beautiful place, you walk a lot but it is totally worth it, do not forget to take water to hydrate yourself and please do not leave garbage or bottles lying anywhere you go.

Recomendadisimo!!!! Me encantó!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Highly recommended !!!! I loved!!! Truly an unusual experience, the waterfall ??? I would like to go again. It really seems like a mystical place I think that word fits perfectly. Of course, wear your life jacket if you dare to go swimming or if you have children. They do not allow to enter with plastic bottles or things that can be thrown on the road, nor does it seem like smoking (!! and good for that!). And mostly in some areas it is not allowed to swim, because of the depth and the current that the river carries. It is walking too many slopes for those who like those walks (I loved it!). I do not regret having gone. ♥ ️ ♥ ️ ♥ ️ ♥ ️ ♥ ️

Impressive natural waterfall, it is difficult access for children under five years and for older adults because there are horizontal stairs or very stopped, there are two accesses, one is by road to a pier and the other is presented in the images, This one that I describe is by road as 5km by car and 1km more by the river that takes you to the top or fall of the waterfall and there you will descend, I emphasize, not recommended for small children or adults older people who need to rely on someone else

Very nice place with friendly staff, it is a bit difficult to reach, you have to drive 15 km approx for dirt road. But it is worth it because from there, walking 1 km you can reach the upper part of the waterfall. In the camp they sell gorditas, elotes, beer: D, antojitos. An excellent place to camp and make a roast beef. They charge 70 per person to camp. There are places to swim on the river.

Definitivamente voy a regresar.
Excellent place to camp, swim, rest and enjoy nature. The water is not cold, and there are pools of all sizes and depths to swim in. There are 2 entrances through different villages: one to see the waterfalls from above, and another by boat to see the fall from the river below. I will definitely return.

The view of the Tamul waterfall from the Embarcadero la Morena is more convenient. The approximate cost is $ 200 per person from that location. If you bring a truck or 4 * 4 you can enter Tamul camp without any inconvenience. The entrance is PURE TERRASERIA AND DURING 6 KM. THE GROUND IS VERY BAD. It is the upper part of the waterfall and it is not suitable for swimming. The view of the waterfall is very limited. The cost to enter this area is 70 per person and you also have to pay for the guide who takes you

Best place and shorter walk to see the Tamul waterfalls Be safe as it has some dangerous stairs to climb down

Absolutely stunning, the most beautiful place that I’ve seen in my 4 trips to Mexico. The cost to enter the land that Tamul is on is 50 pesos per vehicle. After that, it’s 200 pesos per person for a guide who will show you to the falls (everyone who goes has to have a guide). The money goes back to the local community, and goes towards keeping the falls accessible to tourists - more than worth it. Do be ready for about a half hour of terrible roads - a lifted 4x4 is advised, but we managed in a Dodge Neon going very slowly - after you leave the town of El Naranjito. Also at this time, it might seem like you’re driving onto someone’s property when you reach a gate - you are, but you’re going the right way (this is when you’ll have to pay 50 pesos per car). *Edit* Note that once you reach the falls from the top you have to ask your guide to take you to the bottom of the falls. There is a small (pretty sketchy) ladder that takes you down to the base of the waterfall. From there the view is much better (see my second picture). I saw a couple reviews saying that the view here is bad, and that it’s better if you go by boat. But that’s simply not true. You get right next to the top and base of the falls when you go from Campamento Tamul, and take the ladder down (much closer than you can get in a boat due to the strong current). Moreover, you CAN swim in the top of the falls. There are a couple small pools that are perfectly safe and our guides told us we could use, assuming the river isn’t flooded of course.
