★ ★ ★ ★ ★ great food, great ambience, friendly (but a bit slow) service and in general amazing value for money, the steaks are 10-11 usd and delicious (and generously served), absolutely worth a detour if you are in the area, if you need a place to stay the hotel next to it, la venta or Las ventas (owned by the same family) is by far the best one in San Juan del rio as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service! Our waiter was in a bad mood and very rude. Parts of the order were incorrect and my steak arrived raw instead of medium rare. They tried to charge us for a vodka drink that we didn't order. Horrible experience!
