★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I make sure to stop by each time I visit. I can always find interesting gifts for family and friends and other things I need. I also enjoy the restaurant upstairs. The food and service are very good and it is very clean. I think it is one of the best places to eat there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've bee shopping in Progreso for years and getting my dental work done as well. They survive on the tourist $$ so they try to take care of all reasonable issues. You can shop the prices but the Canada Store is in line with all other pharmacies so unless you just enjoy walking the strip to see if you can save a dollar. As a rule they do not tell you what can or can't be brought across but if you get stopped and take it back they will refund the money. When crossing back to the US sometimes they check my bags thoroughly and other times they just say pass. Always be ready for the first and don't try to sneak things you shouldn't, its not worth the hassle. Have fun and be safe!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased "modafinil" here that was actually bunk sugar pills. Exterior packaging looked legit; didn't realize I'd been scammed until I opened the bottle a few days later. Quite the rip-off at almost $1 per pill. Avoid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big store that has lots of items: groceries, variety of gifts, home decor, prescription medications, candies, liquor and some more. The prices are very reasonable. You can pay in Pesos or USD or use your credit card. The cashiers are very friendly.
