Very good starting point. Facing square. Right goes to morning fish market. Further is Pier(being rebuilt).
Left is Down waterfront to Museum. Behind into stores. 1block left is street that goes to open shops across from Banditos. With your back to square go forward 1 block, turn right on one way street going right to end. Turn left go down to Mercado (on other side of street), go in to experience Mexican market. One block further on other side of street is Electra, bank Azteca in store where I exchange USD to Pesos. BEST RATE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every Sundays starting at around 6pm a cultural / community night begins. The events on Sundays are 'family friendly and free. On Fridays around 7pm a group of locals dance in the kiosk. You are welcome to join in. Right beside the cancha principal is casa marina , same as the SPCA for animals....you can adopt a pet and/or volunteer to walk a dog.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked around leisurely and enjoyed the day. Played 2 games of basketball. It is a festive area. People gather here foe events. Enjoyed a horchata. There are a variety of drink stands.
