La caminata es por montaña, río, subidas, bajadas prolongadas. Saliendo de la cueva debes bajar una gran tramo para llegar a sumergirte al río, lo que hace que hagas una pausa justa y necesaria. Son los habitantes de la comunidad los que te llevan hasta el cañón. No tienen apoyo gubernamental así que recomiendo que vayan con ellos (si bien es cierto existen tours que los llevan lo cierto es que la comunidad no recibe dinero por parte de las empresas que dan los tours), es la comunidad la que forma los caminos de manera manual, así que por favor acudan con ellos, el precio que cobran por llevarte ($200 por persona por el guía y el lugar y $200 por persona por llevarte y regresarte al punto de partida) es nada comparado con el trabajo de los guías y de los espectaculares lugares que verán! ❤️ Puede parecer un poco caro pero una vez ahí comprenderán lo escribo ? 2. La belleza del lugar. Preparen cámara y celular con mucha pila porque querrán tomar fotos de todo y por todo! ? 3. El recorrido. Lleven ropa cómoda, fresca, tenis con agarre (van a escalar un poco), zapatos para agua, cruzaran ríos -por cierto, el agua está caliente aunque la corriente fluye-, algo de comer ligero y agua! ? E	Erika González on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Llegar a Xajhá es todo un reto, si vas necesitas saber que si vas en tour tu camioneta se quedará en un estacionamiento cerca de la carretera y tendrás que bajar al rededor de 1 hr en las camionetas de los locales junto a un camino angosto y junto al acantilado. Si te gusta escalar, la aventura, rappel, y ese tipo de adrenalina te recomiendo ir a gruta seca, si no te gusta todo esto definitivamente haz la ruta sobre el río y avísale a los guías. Lleva una bolsa seca para tus cosas, ya que tendras que mojarte hasta la cintura cruzando por el rio, hay que llevar tenis, de preferencia algunos viejitos que ya no vayas a ocupar, pero que tengan buen agarre porque las piedras del rio son resbalosas. Lleva agua y algo ligero de comer para tu caminata porque no venden nada sobre el río y un rompe vientos ya que al salir del manantial hace mucho aire helado. La caminata es de aproximadamente 5 hrs (2 y media de ida y lo mismo de regreso). No recomiendo este recorrido para personas con algun problema físico ya que sí es una caminata que requiere de esfuerzo, escalar algunas piedras, caminar por el río contra corriente. Pero si te gusta la aventura este lugar es para ti. Take water and something light to eat for your walk because they do not sell anything on the river and a windbreaker since when you leave the spring it is very cold air. The walk is approximately 5 hours (2 and a half one way and the same on the way back). I do not recommend this route for people with any physical problem since it is a walk that requires effort, climbing some stones, walking along the river against the current. But if you like adventure this place is for you.
