★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drinks were ok. They chased after us for a higher tip. That was annoying, if a certain percentage for tip was needed, they should've said it. I wouldn't recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was by far the best place to eat in Queretaro. It's an open place with a nice view of the plaza just in front. Quiet although just downtown. Staff speaks English without any problem and you can pay by card.
Their grilled meat is just spectacular, I strongly recommend the Asado de Tira, there are no words to describe it (in fact, take a look at my picture below). Also a large selection of tequila and an even bigger selection of Mescal, awesome. Tap beer is available and they have a happy hour with half price beer and tequila/mescal.
This is THE place to go downtown.

Service is good, but not outstanding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the first restaurant I ate at during my time in Mexico. It was a fantastic introduction! It starts with it being in a great location, the cities center, surrounded by several landmarks. The service was excellent which is always big in my book, there was even what I believe to have been a mariachi band playing live music for a portion of my meal. It doesn't get much more real than that.
The food: two things I've never really liked, being one more accostuned to TexMex are fish tacos and corn tortillas. But this trip, made me a fan of both! And even though it wasnt the focal point of my dish, the mashed potatoes were the best I've ever tasted! Great experience!
