I came to Cantinas for its high rating and this was my experience. The service is fine, those who take good care of them treat the dogs well. The problem is that Petco does everything better and at a lower cost. I wanted to keep coming to support local businesses but it really didn't convince me. Here are the reasons why I decided to go to Petco: 1. I asked them to define their legs at least twice and they never listened to me, I told them even if they charged. At Petco they are made perfect at an additional cost. 2. To prevent my dog ​​from being locked in a cage for a long time, I asked them every time I took her (at least 6) to call me when they were to finish her and thus get her on time. Not once did they mark me. At Petco they even offer it to you without you telling them, and they mark you 15 minutes before they are going to finish without fail. 3. Every time I wore it, it was very clean and pretty because they put bows on it but pulling more hair than I left it. My car ended up with more hair from having bathed her there. Once I told them and they brushed her more but then what is the joke if you have to be telling them every time ... and wait for you there another 15 minutes as they do it. At Petco they use Furminator brushes for a double layer which looks super good. My car appreciates it. 4. Every time you dial for an appointment, it is as if it were the first time, you have to tell them your name and race and age and phone number. The price they charge me always changed and I didn't even know why. They write everything down in a little notebook and then it stays there. In Petco you download an app, register your puppy and from there you make the appointment. It takes me less time and you accumulate discounts on each visit. As the user experience is more comfortable and easy. One of the great advantages that small and local businesses have is that they can give a warmer and more personal experience to their customers, especially if they are frequent and this is where I think Cantinas is not taking advantage of it. I can't understand how the guys and girls at Petco remember you better and are warmer considering their volume of customers. In conclusion, the service is not bad, everything is "good" but for me it is difficult to justify the price if everything is done better at Petco and cheaper. My experience at Petco has not been perfect but it has been better. Hopefully Cantinas can improve because I would like to support local businesses and if they don't, they lose customers who are particularly demanding with the quality of service and with our dogs.
