Canto del Agua Ecolodge - 30110 Tzimol

Un paraíso en medio de la selva! Un lugar increíble para desconectar y disfrutar, literal el canto del agua deleita cada hora del día por sus ríos nacientes y cascadas. Nos quedamos en la cabaña 5, y la recomiendo mucho!! Fuimos con nuestros dos perrhijos y fue mágico para ellos, todo el personal se portó siempre muy amigable, hay para cualquier mood que quieras, familiar, romántico, con amigos, hay temazcal, cascadas, mini golf, estancia de juegos beerpong, Jenga gigante, su restaurante es delicioso!! En fin fue un placer haber conocido ese lugar.

Canto del agua es un lugar para perderte un fin de semana, es un lugar diferente y mágico. Muy frecuente vamos a comer a canto del agua y el servicio se me hace muy bueno, las bebidas y el menú que ofrecen es muy bueno!!! De mis lugares favoritos para ir con la familia y amigos!

When you call you can get a rate around 1,090 Mx pesos. Restaurant on site is very good and serves 3 meals. On the hotel’s property, be sure to walk down hill to the river for a rest or swim, it’s lovely!

I hate to give this place a two star rating, because the pics looked amazing and I was super stoked for an authentic/rustic experience. The booking process is a little rough. It’s through WhatsApp, I had to triple check the number of nights and price, and send 1/2 the deposit via PayPal or a bank transfer. The property is simply gorgeous! But, it appears to be in disrepair now. The pool wasn’t skimmed, the cushions and chairs are just left out, the common/play areas were filled with items and junk, there were mattresses sitting on the tables down by the waterfalls, the Temezcal was filled with junk but might have been in the process of being built, the volleyball court & put put course were filled with debris, etc. Our cabin [#5] looked super cute on the website. The bottom floor smelled like mold, you could see mold in the shower, my sheet and pillow had a red/orange stain on it, we were greeted by various critters every time we came back [yes, some is to be expected], and we didn’t get warm water for 2 whole days because they said it’s solar powered. We didn’t shower in the AM just to let the water get warm for the night time. That didn’t work either. And, when we left a day early and told the staff they hardly acknowledged us and didn’t nothing about it. The restaurant was decent, although our friend got sick from eating the ceviche one night. This place is so close to being spectacular but missed the mark. The property is nice but needs some TLC.

I would NEVER stay here or recommend it again. We booked Cabin 5 for 4 nights. We left after 3. Huge spiders in our bed 2 of 3 nights. Pool was disgusting and never cleaned. No room service cleaning our room. Bathroom floors were gross. Food was very good though. Oh and NO hot water. None. Zero. For 36 full hours. I imagine it used to be nice. But it is VERY tired and dirty. Someone should buy it. Clean it. And turn it around. The falls just past our cabin are worth everyone going to see if staying here.

An excellent stay , this is the most beautiful place ever. We had an amazing time and miss it already. Can't wait to come back. An absolute dream, recommend absolutely
