★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es la primera capilla de la cabecera de Amealco su construcción antigua conserva su estructura original, los sábados es utilizado para dar catecismo, los martes a las 6 se da la hora santa, los demás días permanece cerrada, a menos algún festejo especial como corpus Cristi o cuando llega la virgen de soriano ,la peregrinación de la santa cruz inicia en chalmita , así como en semana santa salen de ahí las procesiones
