Está a cargo del Sr. Cura de la parroquia de San Agustín, el Padre "Poli" acaba de ser restaurada y se abre con mayor frecuencia al culto. Muy sencilla pero muy hermosa y antigua. Luis Antonia Menchaca, un cuarto de caballería de terreno por la cantidad de 300.00 pesos. Su intención, al comprarlo, no fue otra que levantar una capilla en honor de la Santa Cruz, a la que tenían profunda devoción. Esta Cruz provenía de la Hacienda del Molino de Soria. Una vez comprado el terreno se separó lo que sería el espacio de la capilla. Y el terreno sobrante se repartió entre los donantes. Estas tierras repartidas eran inalienables y los poseedores estaban obligados a cooperar cada año para los gastos de la Misa y sermón Los que encabezan no pudieron terminar la capilla que comenzaron a levantar de calicanto.
