La tierra que vio nacer a mi abuela Abigail, forma parte de la primera ruta que emprendió Hernán Cortés hacia Tenochtitlán, un pintoresco pueblo que ha conservado su traza, arquitectura y tradiciones. Me dirigí muy temprano hacia las montañas, pasando por Teocelo, por las comunidades de Texin, el Monasterio Benedictino Xixitla, por la “barranca nueva”, Pocitos -ubicado en la desviación a Cosautlan- Amatla y El Arenal, un par de minutos antes de llegar a mi destino, admiré la espectacular cascada llamada «El Chorro», una forma natural de recibir al visitante.

The land that gave birth to my grandmother Abigail, is part of the first route taken by Hernán Cortés towards Tenochtitlán, a picturesque town that has preserved its layout, architecture and traditions.
