San Mateo Xalpa is one of the villages of the mountain of Xochimilco and this temple dates from the 18th century, full of tradition and here on a Sunday morning you can enjoy a rich barbecue of lamb, tamalitos, Queadillas with handmade tortilla and you can buy vegetables and vegetables freshly harvested by rural producers.
