★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esta es una de las 14 estaciones parte de las Capillas del Víacrucis de Puebla. Esta corresponde a una pequeña iglesia en las faltas del cerro de Belén (donde posteriormente fueron construidos Los Fuertes) dedicada al Cirineo, personaje que ayuda a Jesús a llevar la cruz en su recorrido hacia el Gólgota.
Las Capillas del Víacrucis fueron construidas para simular el recorrido original que realizó Jesús en Jerusalem. A diferencia de otros lugares similares en América Española estas fueron de tipo arquitectónico, en otros lugares sólo eran marcas o cruces. Aquí se construyeron capillas y todas se encuentran en buen o excelente estado. Hice un recorrido por varias de ellas y el recorrido me pareció interesante e histórico. Ahora es un tour turístico que recomiendo para apreciar la arquitectura y la vida novohispana.
This is one of the 14 stations part of the Chapels of the Via Crucis of Puebla. This corresponds to a small church on the outskirts of the Bethlehem hill (where Los Fuertes were later built) dedicated to the Cyrene, a character who helps Jesus carry the cross on his way to Golgotha.
The Way of the Cross Chapels were built to simulate the original journey that Jesus made in Jerusalem. Unlike other similar places in Spanish America these were of an architectural type, in other places they were only marks or crosses. Chapels were built here and all are in good or excellent condition. I did a tour of several of them and I found the tour interesting and historical. Now it is a tourist tour that I recommend to appreciate the architecture and the New Spanish life.
