Es de más reciente construcción, pero aunque se le asigna una antigüedad no mayor al siglo XIX, se supone que ya existía en enero de 1812, porque se cuenta que frente a ella se estableció un frente de batalla durante el conflicto en el que los insurgentes al mando de José María Morelos vencieron a los españoles comandados por el Brigadier Rosendo Porlier. En ese preciso lugar, se dice, un tenancinguense de nombre Fausto Guadarrama le salvó la vida al héroe Hermenegildo Galeana. El nombre de esta capilla no solamente se debe al Huerto de los Olivos, en donde Jesús hizo oración antes de ser aprehendido, sino también porque en el parque que se encuentra actualmente frente a ella, había un huerto de árboles frutales. Es también patrimonio catalogado como Monumento Histórico, con grado de conservación B, aunque no ha sido muy respetado últimamente. Su fiesta es movible, y ocurre en el mes de febrero. Se encuentra ubicada en la esquina de Cuauhtémoc y Aldama.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es un lugar muy bonito, solo que ahora hay dr*gadictos y más afuera de esta en la noche, si vienes de visita a tenancingo y es de noche no te recomiendo pasar caminando por ahi. Ojo solo si es de noche, de día es mas tranquilo
