S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Capilla Enterrada - Zapotitlán de Salinas - Tehuacán - Puebla - México ( Reserva de la Biosfera Tehuacán - Cuicatlán ) Ya en la carretera Tehuacán - Huajuapán de León, llega uno a señalamientos que indican el camino a tomar para llegar a la Capilla Enterrada, hay que tener cuidado pues está casi en una curva y entra uno a un camino de terracería y lleno de cactáceas entre las cuales los “viejitos” destacan por su altura , después de unos minutos y de un camino que en su parte más peligrosa hay que ir a un lado de una barranca de unos 70mts de profundidad y del otro el Cerro, llegué a un punto donde NO hay señalamientos solo vi una pequeña columna a un lado del camino y del otro una casa al parecer abandonada ahí el camino se dividía en Y, me baje del coche y camine unos metros salieron algunas aves y sí, ahí estaba una construcción abandonada, con una puerta principal que en su Marco hay dibujos que adornan la entrada a esta Capilla, también me salieron a recibir muchas golondrinas que hoy hacen de la capilla su hogar. La capilla Enterrada fue utilizada como centro evangelizador, construida en una oquedad Natural la cual fue ampliada. Según la información local sirvió de refugio en varios momentos de la Historia y fungió como un paso comercial en la época de la Colonia y me comentaron los amigos de las salinas que igual se hacían ceremonias o era lugar de descanso cuando era paso de los chiveros, rumbo a Tehuacán.
