The Chapel of San Francisco de Asís, in the Baroque style with stone quarries and pillars and wooden shuttered gates, are a very important architectural jewel in the municipality of Ozumba, its facade reminds me of all those exterior altars that served to evangelize the indigenous people who were not accustomed to entering the temples and therefore had to be designed with niches and canopies containing packages of the Saints or Virgins to whom the temple was dedicated, and it is here where Saint Francis of Assisi appears in 5 niches. The Chapel contains an interesting sacred art and if you come to visit it please obtain photographic images without flash, the interesting thing about this is to preserve the good culture of the 17th century Catholic religion and its architectural heritage, but when you can VISIT IT I contain many images of the interior of this chapel, but the people in charge of the place asked me not to publish them, as they are relics of great importance and out of respect for Ozumba, I reserve myself from publishing them all to you.
